The Deadline For Entries To The 2022 ROC RAIDA CHALLENGE Is April 17th!
https://vimeo.com/694922607 The ROC RAIDA CHALLENGE is an annual competition Brolic Army DJ School launched in May of 2021 in celebration of the late-great Roc Raida’s birthday (May 17th). The competition’s aim is to find the Brolic Army student who can best compose a routine based on one of Roc Raida’s classic beat juggles. In 2021 students were challenged to flip Raida’s “Chief Rocka” (Lords of the Underground) routine which he featured in his 1995 winning World DMC Title set. Big shout to last year’s winner, Captain Co. This year, students will be working with another one of Raida’s dope beat juggle routines, “Unassisted” (Rasco). Beat Juggling aficionados and Brolic Army DJ School instructors Mike C and Mista B , along with Rob Swift, will choose the top 3 routines.
